INFOFEST 2011

Festival of Information Technology Achievements – INFOFEST is selective events that is organized by the Government of Montenegro (Ministry of Information Society and Telecommunications) and Business Link consulting company from Belgrade , every year since 1994. INFOFEST is a central ICT event in the region.

The Government of Montenegro has proclaimed on July 29, 1993., that INFOFEST is an “Event of State-importance”. International Association of FERAM declared INFOFEST one of ten most important ICT events in the Mediterranean.

Program Committee of the Festival is responsible for the program selection. This document contains the conditions under which selected companies can choose the status and form of participating at INFOFEST.

The concept of the INFOFEST program includes different festival forms in which presents the most successful international and regional ICT companies, the best authors papers selected by public-tender procedure, and round table discussion on topical issues of information society development. INFOFEST has a promotional, informational, educational, professional and scientific components.

XVIII Festival of Information Technology Achievement starts with opening ceremony on Oct 2nd at 21.00, with an artistic program and the announcement of the participants.

Official INFOFEST programe also includes:

­ Company presentations (Hotel „Maestral“ conference room);

­ Exhibition;

­ IX International Conference of the regulatory authorities in the region, in the field of electronic communications (Oct 3rd -4th);

­ Presentation of the most successful authors papers;

­ Round Table: "The state and the survival of the ICT sector";

­ Panel: "e-future / reality and delusion";

­ Discussion forum: „INFOFEST asks – where we are“;

­ Special Program: "New features at the entrance".

The Festival ends on Friday, Oct 7th at 20.00 with awards ceremony. On the end, there is the final gathering called "Evening with Budvaners".

Saturday Oct 8th is the day of departure of the participants.
