25. INFOFEST was opened by Branimir Gvozdenovic, vice president of the Parliament of Montenegro, one of the founders and multi-year president of the Festival Council, who spoke about the mission and importance of INFOFEST for 25 years, and emphasized the importance of such gatherings during the digitalization period.

Minister of Public Administration Suzana Pribilović spoke about the importance of INFOFEST for Montenegro and paid special attention to the contents that the Ministry will present at INFOFEST.
Kemal Huseinović, Director of Infrastructure, Regulatory Environment, Cyber Security and ICT applications of the International Telecommunication Union talked about new technologies with a special emphasis on the 5G mobile generation.

String guitar quartet Amuletik and actor Slaviša Grubiša with their performances beautified the jubilee INFOFEST evening.

Festival of Informatics Achievements – INFOFEST 2018, as a manifestation of state significance, will host more than 1000 participants this year.
